VINÍCOLA VILLARROBLEDO S.C.L. was established 1998 after the fusion of two cooperatives:

- Cooperative Nuestra Señora de la Caridad, founded the 30-09-1944
- Cooperative San Antón, founded the 30-05-1950

The Cooperative VINICOLA DE VILLARROBLEDO and its vineyards are associated to the Regulation Council of the Designation of Origin La Mancha, consists of 450 winegrowers with about 3.500 Ha vineyards, with a production of 36.000.000 litres in 2005.

After an investment of approx. 10.000.000 Euros the new facilities with most modern technology were inaugurated in February 2002. Starting with the quality control at the receipt of the grapes, the self emptying tanks, allowing a controlled maceration and the stainless steel tanks, allowing fermentation at controlled temperature, everything is dedicated to one aim: to produce wine of highest quality suited to the customers necessities.
